Phillips earns Eagle Scout rank

Hunter Phillips received his Eagle Scout rank in April. Phillips received 27 merit badges, served in six leadership roles, earned the Arrow of Light, was an Ordeal member of the Order of the Arrow and participated in the extreme adventures of Philmont and Seabase. For his Eagle project, he built a walkway, fire pit and restoration of the outdoor worship area at his church in Jackson, Tenn. Phillips is the son of Alan and Julie Phillips of Jackson, and grandson of Sam and Mildred Conrad and Gene and Clara Phillips, both of Cape Girardeau.
