Notre Dame alumnus completes basic training

Navy Seaman Brandon J. Frayser, a 2002 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School in Cape Girardeau, recently completed U.S. Navy basic training and was promoted to his current rank at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. During the eight-week program, Frayser completed a variety of training that included classroom study and practical instruction on naval customs, first aid, firefighting, water safety and survival, and shipboard and aircraft safety. An emphasis was also placed on physical fitness.
