No Shape Up Cape results

Editor's note: Shape Up Cape scores were not available for the week of Aug. 12 to 18. Final results will be calculated and presented with the announcement of a winner Aug. 30.

Shape Up Cape is a community fitness project sponsored by the Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce.

Teams from local businesses accumulate points based on weekly exercise.

The competition, in its fourth year, began May 19 and ended Aug. 18.

Points are calculated by taking the total number of points for the team and dividing by the number of people on the team. Scores are based on cumulative averages, as calculated by the Cape Girardeau Area Chamber of Commerce staff.
