The Kidd Family Scholarship Fund has been established at Southeast Missouri State University. Endowed in May by Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Kidd of Cape Girardeau, the recipient of this renewable scholarship will be a student enrolled at Southeast with a major in the College of Science, Technology and Agriculture. A minimum grade-point average of 2.0 will be required, and financial need is a preference for the scholarship but not required. The College of Science, Technology and Agriculture will select the recipient.
The Kidds are the owners of Kidd's Inc. and have been longtime supporters of Southeast, the athletic program and the annual golf tournament sponsored by Cape West Rotary, which benefits student scholarships at Southeast.
