Students awarded scholarships to attend Southeast Missouri State University

  • Devin Lincoln of Burfordville, Missouri, has received the University Scholarship. Lincoln is the son of Kenny and Laura Lincoln of Burfordville, and will be a 2018 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School.
  • Katelyn Robertson of Jackson has received the University Scholarship. Robertson is the daughter of Kenneth and Jacqueline Robertson of Jackson, and will be a 2018 graduate of Jackson High School.
  • Layne Johnson of Oran, Missouri, has received the University Scholarship and Residence Life Leadership Award. Johnson is the son of Mike Johnson of Sikeston, Missouri, and Niki Cummins of Oran. He will be a 2018 graduate of Oran High School.
  • Jennifer Lohmann of Perryville, Missouri, has received the Residence Life Leadership Award. Lohmann is the daughter of Ronald and Jeannie Lohmann of Perryville, and will be a 2018 graduate of Perryville High School.
  • Max Phillipps of Jackson has received the University Scholarship. Phillipps is the son of Tom Phillipps of Jackson and Amy Phillipps of Jackson. He will be a 2018 graduate of Jackson High School.
  • Jacob White of Cape Girardeau has received the Regents' Scholarship. White is the son of Eric and Nikki White of Cape Girardeau, and will be a 2018 graduate of Cape Central High School.

Central Methodist University honors students

Central Methodist University recently recognized 17 students during the division of science, mathematics, and computer science honor awards.

  • Joshua Hunt from Perryville, Missouri, a senior currently pursuing a bachelor of science degree in biology, was presented the Alpha Epsilon Delta-Harold Momberg Award, given to an outstanding pre-med student in honor of longtime Biology faculty member Dr. Harold Momberg.
  • Caitlyn Landewee from Leopold, Missouri, a senior currently pursuing a bachelor of science degree in biology, was presented the Dr. Ferris H. and Leona Wood Award. The scholarship of $150 is for a student concentrating in biology and entering his/her senior year with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Landewee's name will be placed on a perpetual plaque housed in CMU's Stedman Hall of Science.
