Five Cape Girardeau County 4-H youth received scholarships worth $1,000 each Oct. 7 at the Missouri 4-H Foundation's annual scholarship and awards banquet in Columbia, Missouri.
Paige Birk of Gordonville was awarded the B.W. Harrison Memorial 4-H Scholarship. Birk is studying pharmacy at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Victoria Kobak of Jackson was awarded the Miller Thorne Free Enterprise 4-H Scholarship. Kobak is studying education at Concordia University in Nebraska.
Renee Peters of Cape Girardeau was awarded the Orscheln 4-H Scholarship. Peters is studying business and agriculture at Southeast Missouri State University.
Julia Todt of Cape Girardeau was awarded the Orscheln 4-H Scholarship. Todt is studying veterinary medicine at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Sarah Wichern of Jackson was awarded the Aleta Crawford 4-H Scholarship. Wichern is studying human environmental sciences with an emphasis in dietetics at Southeast Missouri State University.
