Local students earn scholarships

Several local students earned scholarships to assist with the cost of attendance at Southeast Missouri State University in the fall.

Hannah Campbell of Jackson was awarded the Regents' Scholarship. Campbell, a 2016 graduate of Jackson High School, is the daughter of Josh and Heather Campbell of Jackson.

Emily Jackson of Whitewater was awarded the Dual Credit Scholarship. Jackson, a 2016 graduate of Eagle Ridge Christian School, is the daughter of Shannon and Stephanie Jackson of Whitewater.

Carrie Keen and Whitney Gaines of Benton, Missouri, were awarded the University Scholarship. Keen, a 2016 graduate of Thomas W. Kelly High School, is the daughter of Jason and Leigh Ann Keen of Benton. Gaines, also a 2016 graduate of Thomas W. Kelly High School, is the daughter of Angela Gaines of New Madrid, Missouri.
