Local seniors get scholarships

Jenna Hale of Cape Girardeau and Kathryn Sebaugh of Jackson were awarded Regents' Scholarships to attend Southeast Missouri State University for the 2016-2017 academic year. Hale is a senior at Cape Girardeau Central High School. Sebaugh is a senior at Jackson High School.

Leopold woman joins vocal group

Caitlyn Landewee of Leopold, Missouri, has become a member of the Conservatory Singers, the largest vocal performance group at Central Methodist University. Landewee is a biology major at the university.

Jackson woman elected to student government

Julia Weber of Jackson was elected to be the executive secretary for the Student Government Association at Central Methodist University. Weber is a senior mathematics major at the university.
