Kaitlin Christian and Kody Olsen of Jackson have received the Regents' Scholarship to attend Southeast Missouri State University for the 2017-2018 academic year. Christian is the daughter of Bruce and Amy Christian and Shelley and Todd Turlington. Olsen is the son of Jason and Pamela Hackler of Jackson. Christian and Olsen both will be 2017 graduates of Jackson High School.
Natalie Cunningham of Jackson has received the Residence Life Leadership Award to attend Southeast Missouri State University for the 2017-2018 academic year. Cunningham is the daughter of Karen Cunningham and will be a 2017 graduate of Jackson High School.

Amy McAlister of Jonesboro, Illinois, has received the University Scholarship and Midwest Achievement Award to attend Southeast Missouri State University for the 2017-2018 academic year. McAlister is the daughter of R.W. and Renee McAlister of Jonesboro, Illinois, and will be a 2017 graduate of Anna-Jonesboro High School.
Academic honor
Lindsey Breer of Jackson earned honor- roll distinction for the fall 2016 semester at Kansas University in Lawrence, Kansas.
