Jon Winkler of Cape Girardeau, a student at Southeast Missouri State University, was awarded first place in the Audio-PSA category in the Missouri Broadcast Educators Association Awards competition. Winkler's project title was "CHAMPS," and he completed the project during the fall 2015 semester.
Katelyn Ludwig of Jackson; Kaylen Martin of Cape Girardeau; and Kelsy Patterson of Advance, Missouri, were named to the dean's list at Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas, for the spring 2016 semester.
The P&G Fund awarded three 2016 Employee/Retiree Children's Scholarships in April to Caleb Bess, Taylor Smith and Candace Hamlin. Bess is a graduate of Jackson High School and is the son of Christopher and Chris Bess of Millersville. Hamlin is a graduate of Jackson High School and is the daughter of Regina and Jack Donze of Cape Girardeau and James and Mary Ann Hamlin of Gordonville. Smith is a graduate of Jackson High School and is the daughter of David and Sandy Smith of Jackson.
