Four awarded scholarships

Four area students were awarded scholarships to assist with the cost of attendance at Southeast Missouri State University in the fall. Cheyenne Sander of Jackson was awarded the University Scholarship. She will be a 2016 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School and is the daughter of Keith and Martha Sander of Jackson. Ashlyn McIntosh and Blake Schlitt of Oran, Missouri, both were awarded the University Scholarship and Residence Life Leadership Award. McIntosh will be a 2016 graduate of Oran High School and is the daughter of Dustin McIntosh of Oran and Amy Reinagel of Cape Girardeau. Schlitt will be a 2016 graduate of Oran High School and is the son of Don and Debbie Schlitt of Oran. Ethan Mirgeaux of Scott City was awarded the Visual and Performing Arts Scholarship. He will be a 2016 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School and is the son of David and Beverly Mirgeaux of Scott City.
