Darryl Ann Mullally of Cape Girardeau was awarded the Joyce A. Kelly Memorial Scholarship by the American Association of University Women Carbondale Branch. Mullally is a first-year law student at the Southern Illinois University Carbondale School of Law. The scholarship is awarded to a nontraditional student.
Bailey Dame of Oran, Missouri, and Samantha Smiley of Cape Girardeau were awarded the University Scholarship to assist with the cost of attendance at Southeast Missouri State University this fall. Dame will be a 2016 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School and is the daughter of Jeremy and Stacey Dame of Oran. Smiley was a fall 2015 graduate of Jackson High School and is the daughter of Jerry and Linda Boren of Cape Girardeau. Josie Long of Marble Hill, Missouri, received the Community College Scholarship to assist with the cost of attendance at Southeast Missouri State University this fall. Long will be a 2016 graduate of Mineral Area College, is a 2014 graduate of Woodland High School and is the daughter of D.J. and Laurie Long of Marble Hill.
