The following students have been awarded scholarships to attend Southeast Missouri State University for the 2017-2018 academic year:
Katie Black of Jackson was awarded the Regents' Scholarship. Black is the daughter of David and Kristi Black of Jackson and will be a 2017 graduate of Jackson High School.
Samuel Hale of Thebes, Illinois, was awarded the Midwest Achievement Award. Hale is the son of Randy and Kristie Hale of Thebes and will be a 2017 graduate of Egyptian Senior High School.
Lydia Pensel of Jackson was awarded the University Scholarship. Pensel is the daughter of Dr. Rodney and Pamela Pensel of Jackson and will be a 2017 graduate of Jackson High School.
Krista Martin of Cape Girardeau was awarded the University Scholarship and Residence Life Leadership Award. Martin is the daughter of Thomas Martin of Fayetteville, North Carolina, and Tracy Barnett of Jackson and will be a 2017 graduate of Jackson Senior High School.
Clayton Hester of Millersville was awarded the University Scholarship and Residence Life Leadership Award. Hester is the son of Brian and Amy Hester of Millersville and will be a 2017 graduate of Woodland High School.
Aaron Bollinger of Jackson was awarded a Modern Languages Scholarship in the French category from Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
