Jackson graduate completes basic training

Army Pvt. Brent A. Sauceda graduated from Army Basic Combat Training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla. During the nine weeks of training, he studied the Army mission, received instruction and training exercises in Army history and protocol, military justice, physical fitness, first aid, marksmanship and weapons use, map reading and land navigation, armed and unarmed combat, field maneuvers and tactics. Sauceda is the son of Sheila Gunter and stepson of Stan Gunter of Jackson. Sauceda is a 2008 graduate of Jackson High School.
