Airman Kelsey E. Keppner graduated from Air Force basic training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio. She completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force. She is the daughter of Steven Keppner of Thebes, Ill., and granddaughter of Shirley Keppner of Harrisburg, Ill. Keppner is a 2008 graduate of Egyptian Senior High School in Tamms, Ill.
