STEP 1: Remove all rings from your fingers. Place one uncooked egg in the palm of your hand.

STEP 2: Grasp the egg with your fingers and squeeze the egg, applying pressure evenly around the egg.

Explanation

The arch shape of the egg keeps it from breaking. This shape allows the pressure from your hand to be distributed evenly around the egg.
