* Clear carbonated soda

* Tall transparent glass

* Raisins

Instructions

STEP 1: Fill the glass halfway with the soda.

STEP 2: Drop in several raisins and watch.

Explanation

The soda releases carbon dioxide gas bubbles. These bubbles stick to the surface of the raisins. The raisins then lift up through the soda. Once the raisins reach the surface, the bubbles pop, and the raisins sink back to the bottom.
