Have you ever wanted to weigh less? If so, head to the moon. Here's some simple math that will show you how much you would weigh if you were on the moon.

STEP 1: Write how much you weigh on the piece of paper.

STEP 2: Using the calculator, multiply your Earth weight by 0.17 to see how much you would weigh on the moon.

Explanation

Weight is a measurement of the gravitational force acting on an object. You weigh less on the moon since it has a weaker gravitational attraction when compared to the Earth. You would weigh more on Jupiter since it has a stronger gravitational attraction when compared to the Earth.
