"Twenty-one Ways to Survive the Holidays with Your Sanity and Diet Intact" will be discussed by Bonnie Morley, manager of pastoral care at St. Francis Medical Center, at noon. The event is held in Conference Room C of the education center. For information, call the Wellness Department at 331-5970.

"Ask Your Doctor" will feature guest Dr. Mason Bias. "Ask Your Doctor" is a call-in medical show that airs at 8 p.m. on Channel 5.

Friday

American Red Cross blood drive from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Cape Girardeau Career and Technology Center. Donors should bring some form of identification.

Saturday

Childbirth class from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Healing Arts Center conference room.

CPR training from 8 a.m. to noon at Main Street Fitness Center in Jackson, Mo. Course is sponsored by Southeast Missouri Hospital's Wellness Center. Fee is $20. Call 334-WELL to register.

Diabetes support group meets from 1-2 p.m. at Generations Center at Southeast Missouri Hospital. Dietitian Mary Etta Dunaway will talk about meal planning and eating out. To register, call 651-5844.

Coping with holiday stress will be a discussion topic from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in Conference Room A at St. Francis Education Center. Dr. Steve Jordan will talk about stress and coping mechanisms to make sure you have a calm and relaxing holiday.

Reclaiming Life after Loss support group meets from 7-8:30 p.m. in Meeting Room 101 at Southeast Missouri Hospital. For information, call 335-6208.

Wednesday

Drive-through flu clinic from 9 a.m. to noon at the Jackson, Mo., fire station. The clinic is for anyone but particularly for those who have difficulty getting in and out of vehicles. Donations of $10 per vaccination are requested from anyone who doesn't have Medicare or Medicaid.

Knee and hip pain seminar from 1-2 p.m. at Generations Center at Southeast Missouri Hospital. Tammy Kahn Brown, a nurse practitioner with Orthopedic Associates of Southeast Missouri, will speak about medications and exercise. For information, call 651-5825.
