Heartsaver CPR class offered from 8 a.m. to noon at Main Street Fitness in Jackson, sponsored by Southeast Missouri Hospital. Fee is $20. To register, call 334-WELL.

Preparation for childbirth class meets from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the conference room in St. Francis' Healing Arts Center. This class covers expected body changes, labor signs and stages, pain control options, labor techniques and basic infant care. Tips on relaxing, positioning and breathing will also be discussed.
