Heartsaver CPR class from 8 a.m. to noon at Main Street Fitness Center in Jackson, sponsored by the Wellness Department at Southeast Missouri Hospital. Fee is $20 and participants can earn two-year certification from American Heart Association. Call 334-WELL for information.

Preparation for childbirth class meets from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the conference room in the Healing Arts Center. Four Weeks to Tobacco Free class begins meeting at 7 p.m. and continues each Tuesday for four consecutive weeks. Class meets at Main Street Fitness Center in Jackson. Cost is $45 for all sessions. Registration is required; call 243-2211 for details.

SHARE Grief Support Group meets from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in meeting room 102 at Southeast Missouri Hospital. Group is for parents who have lost children due to miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death and ectopic pregnancies. For information, call 651-5549.
