Annual walk for ALS takes place Tuesday

Southern Missouri area walk sponsors, team captains, walkers and the public are encouraged to attend the Cape Girardeau "Walk to D'feet ALS" Tuesday at the Osage Community Centre, room 1.

Registration will be from 7 to 7:15 a.m. The program begins at 7:15 a.m. with general discussion and questions at 8:30 a.m.

Free prostate screening set for Saturday morning

Southeast Missouri Hospital and Cape Girardeau Urology Associates will sponsor a free prostate cancer screening clinic Saturday as part of Prostate Cancer Awareness Week. The screening will be at Southeast in the Harrison Room near the main lobby from 8 a.m. until noon.
