MS Society begins 2007 scholarship program

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society is now accepting applications for its 2007 national scholarship program. The scholarship provides financial relief for people affected by MS who are entering their first year of post-secondary education. For more information, call (314) 781-9020.

Walk-n-be-fit at West Park Mall, 8 a.m., 30-minute education program for adult walkers.

We Can support group for cancer patients and their families, 4 p.m. in meeting room 102 at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

Breast cancer support group, 7 p.m. in the South Healing Arts room in the Healing Arts Center.

Diabetes support group, 2:30 p.m. in Saint Francis Health and Wellness Center Fitness Plus conference room.

Senior health fair, 9 a.m. to noon at Wesley United Methodist Church, featuring the Jerry Ford Combo and demonstration and screenings from various health and wellness organizations.

Saturday

MS support group, 10 a.m. in the Health and Wellness Conference room I.

Monday

Depressive Bipolar Support Alliance, 6:30 p.m. in the Franciscan conference room, Saint Francis Medical Center.

Wednesday

Community outreach clinic with the Scott County Health Center, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Riverside Regional Library in Benton.
