The National Multiple Sclerosis Society will holt a free lecture from 10 a.m. until noon Dec. 3 at Saint Francis Health and Wellness Center to explain the various options open to people with MS and other disabilities.
Sandra Cato, social security benefit specialist with SEMO Alliance for Disability Independence, will speak on various government assistance programs. She will cover the difference between SSI and SSDI, give tips and guidance on how and when to apply for SSI and SSDI, how disability is determined, the new Medicare prescription drug programs and the ins and outs of Missouri Medicaid changes.

Like many not-for-profit organizations, the March of Dimes has been hit hard by the national disasters that have occurred in our nation this year. In order for the Southeast Missouri March of Dimes to meet its budget, it is asking the community to consider making a donation.
