Free health fair at Trinity Lutheran Church

Free health screenings will be offered from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church. Health officials also will give presentations throughout the morning. The health fair is sponsored by Southeast Missouri Hospital staff and the Generations Center. For more information, call 335-8224.

St. Louis woman to speak about Down syndrome

The Heartland Down Syndrome Association will play host to Linda Orso of the Greater St. Louis chapter from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Cape Girardeau. Orso will speak about the association's resources and upcoming events. For more information, call 335-6560.

Flu shots provided by the Scott County Health Department at 8:30 a.m. at the Chaffee Nutrition Center, 800 S. Main St. Medicaid and Medicare will be accepted.

American Red Cross blood drive at Sears Grand, noon to 4 p.m., and at Chaffee High School from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Tuesday

American Red Cross blood drive at Oak Ridge High School from 2 to 6 p.m.
