The Cub Scouts in pack 15 added a new element to a longstanding tradition this year. The pack, sponsored by the First Presbyterian Church of Cape Girardeau, has delivered cookies to the church's members in assisted living and retirement homes for several years. This year, the scouts took the cookies the church members baked and split them between members in homes and veterans at the Missouri Veterans Home. Pack 15 has 48 boys and split up to deliver the cookies and sing carols and hand out Christmas cards they had made.
