The Cape Central High School boys basketball team donated Christmas gifts to pediatric patients at Saint Francis Medical Center Children's Center. It is the second year the team has cut their practice short to shop for age and gender-specific items to give to children unable to spend the holiday at home. Coaches Drew Church, Mike Church and Seth McDowell provide the money. "We're trying to get the kids to realize how good they have it and that some people aren't as lucky." The team also volunteers to speak at basketball camps during the year and provide instruction.
