One good deed could be the culmination of several thoughtful actions, as is the case with this week's Good Deed. Rochelle Steffen, an artist in the Cape Girardeau community, has been creating art that illustrates the plight of unwanted and abused animals. Steffen recently coordinated an art show at the Humane Society of Southeast Missouri to display her work. The show was held Friday, and money from each sale went directly to the Humane Society. Steffen used a photo program to make photographs of adoptable dogs and cats look like pop art. She also made doggie dolls, colorful figurines of different themed dogs.
