The Alzheimer's Association, St. Louis chapter, raised $52,000 toward its SEMO Memory Walk goal of $60,000, with its walk Sept. 12 at Capaha Park. Donations will be accepted through the end of the year. More than 150 people showed up to walk in support of the Alzheimer's Association. Walkers enjoyed music by the Jackson High School band, vendor booths, chair massages, door prizes and food. To make donations, mail a check to Alzheimer's Association, 2411 Abbey Road, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701 or donate online at www.alzstl.org.
