Keller Motors raises money for school

Keller Motors in Perryville, Missouri, raised $2,350 for St. Vincent Elementary School with its Drive for the Kids fundraiser. Participants earned a $10 contribution to the school from Chrysler by taking a test drive in a 2015 model Town & Country, Chrysler 200 or Chrysler 300 vehicle during the event. Jackson woman raises money for Alzheimer's walk

Grant supports food bank efforts

Missouri Foundation for Health awarded a grant to help Southeast Missouri Food Bank host its annual Full Course Golf Classic fundraiser in July. Almost $12,000 in proceeds was raised to cover distribution expenses for hunger relief efforts throughout the food bank's 9,460-square-mile service region, which includes 16 counties. One in five Southeast Missourians is food insecure and unable to afford all the food they need. SEMO Food Bank and its 180 member agencies provide food assistance to 60,000 individuals each month.
