The Amy E. Garrison Endowed Scholarship has been established through the Southeast Missouri University Foundation. Amy Garrison of Maryland Heights, Missouri, made a $5,000 gift, which will be matched with an additional $5,000 through a university matching gift program, part of the Honoring Tradition -- Inspiring Success Comprehensive Campaign. The recipient will be a student enrolled at Southeast. First preference is for a full-time student from Mississippi, New Madrid or Scott counties interested in pursuing a degree in mass communication with a minimum 2.5 grade-point average. A Mississippi County native, Garrison is a 1990 Southeast graduate with a bachelor's degree in mass communication with a major in advertising. Garrison is principal and owner of Brand Virtue, a marketing and communications firm.
