Enrollment at Kelly High School

Enrollment at Thomas W. Kelly High School is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday. Sports physicals will be offered from 1 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the high school for $20 fee. For more information, contact the school at 545-3887.

Revival at Fairview General Baptist Church

A revival is scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Fairview General Baptist Church in Advance, Mo. The revival will feature evangelist Russ Chitwood, and will present nightly singing with Jennifer Krepps on Monday, Jamie Hovis on Tuesday, Don Hester on Wednesday, Egypt Singers on Thursday and Crossroads on Friday. Everyone is welcome. To go to the church, travel north four miles on Highway 25 to Route NN, then two miles to County Road 253; it is one mile to the church.

FFA Day at Busch Stadium

The St. Louis Cardinals will welcome FFA members and their families and friends, alumni and FFA supporters to Busch Stadium for FFA Day at the Ballpark on Aug. 11. The Cardinals will take on the Chicago Cubs at 1:15 p.m. Discount tickets for FFA members and their families and friends are available for the right- or left-field pavilion seats at $35 each. For each ticket sold, the Cardinals will donate $6 to the Missouri FFA Association. Domestic violence meeting at Eagles club

The Domestic Violence Community Response Task Force quarterly meeting is from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Aug. 13 at Eagles 3775, 321 N. Spring St.

Cape Girardeau County prosecuting attorney Chris Limbaugh will be the featured speaker and present "Prosecuting Domestic Violence Cases in Cape Girardeau County."

Diabetes self-management support group

A support-group program for those with diabetes will be at 1 p.m. Aug. 13 at HealthPoint in Cape Girardeau. Diabetes often causes health problems with the heart, kidneys, blood flow and feet, and may lead to foot ulcers and infection. A representative from Southeast Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine will review foot care measures. For more information, call the Southeast Diabetes Center at 573-339-0121.

Ostomy Club support group

The Ostomy Club will meet at 4:30 p.m. Aug. 14 in Meeting Room 106 at Southeast Hospital. The support group helps reduce the practical and emotional burdens of those who have undergone ostomy surgery. The program will focus on the care of the ileostomy patient. Lifesaver class for new parents

The Lifesaver Class for New Parents will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Aug. 14 in Meeting Room 106 of Southeast Hospital. This class helps participants recognize, prevent and respond to life-threatening situations. The class also covers infant CPR and response to a choking infant. Childbirth preparation class

A childbirth preparation class will be from 8 a.m. to noon Aug. 17 in the Harrison Room at Southeast Hospital. The class will address issues such as the emotional and physical changes of pregnancy and the normal labor process. Bariatric support group

A support group for people who have undergone or are considering bariatric weight-loss surgery will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Aug. 17 at HealthPoint in Cape Girardeau. Topics will include meal planning and nutrition, behavior change and motivation and medical management. The August program, "Posture and Stretching for Toning During Weight Loss," will be presented by physical therapist Amy Brookover. For more information, call Raina Childers at 986-4440.
