Reception for long-time teacher
A reception to celebrate the 99th birthday of Avis Muench, a long-time voice teacher in Charleston and Sikeston, Missouri, area will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sept. 14 at Christ Episcopal Church Parish Hall, 101 N. Fountain St. in Cape Girardeau.
The party will be hosted by her students, and no gifts are requested. Cards may be mailed to her at 2110 Sherwood Drive, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701.
