The annual Sedgewickville School reunion will begin at 11 a.m. June 16, in the Methodist church activities building. Please bring a covered dish. Individuals who attended the school at any time are invited to come.

USS Missouri holds 36th annual reunion

The USS Missouri Association, a not-for-profit organization made up of sailors, marines, officers and midshipmen who served aboard battleship USS Missouri will hold its 36th reunion from Sept. 2 to 8 in Norfolk, Va. All veterans and interested parties along with their family and friends are invited. Crader family reunion

The Crader family reunion will begin with a 10 a.m. cemetery board meeting followed by an 11 a.m. business meeting June 14 at Cape County Park North, shelter No. 4. Bring food and soft drinks for lunch at noon. An auction of items to benefit the cemetery will be at 1 p.m. Four board positions are up for election this year: president, secretary and two members at large. A few genealogy books are still available.

Zalma Baptist Church holds fundraiser

The Zalma General Baptist Church Special Needs Committee is having a benefit fish fry, gospel singing and silent auction for Andy Sitze on June 13 at Zalma General Bapist Church. Sitze was in a car accident in March, and suffered severe injuries. He has no medical insurance. All proceeds from the event will go directly to Andy and his family. Missouri Department of Conservation to have troutlining seminar

The Missouri Department of Conservation will be sponsoring on troutlining for catfish seminar on the Mississippi River July 28-30. These classes will have both evening classroom and on-the-river instruction. Application fee is $25, but will be refunded at the end of the course. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis and is limited to the first 15 applicants. For more information, call Dee Dee Dockins, Outdoor Skills Specialist, 290-5858, ext. 235.
