A team of doctors will defend its title in taking on a squad of lawyers at 5 p.m. March 22 at the DePaul Center (Old Notre Dame High School) on the St. Vincent's Catholic Church campus.
Many area doctors and lawyers give their time to practice for and play in this competition. Any lawyer or doctor is welcome to practice each week and compete with their peers.
Tickets to the game are $5 for adults and $2.50 for children younger than 12.
There will be a postgame party at 7 p.m. at the Isle Casino Cape Girardeau. Party tickets are $30 and include admission to the game; the party includes a silent auction.
Tickets are on sale at the Community Counseling Center Foundation office, 402 S. Silver Springs Road in Cape Girardeau.
Event proceeds will benefit the Community Counseling Center to provide programs and services to children, adults and families dealing with mental emotional and behavioral disorders. The center is a private, not-for-profit comprehensive mental health care center.
