Fitness Plus will host an indoor triathlon at 8 a.m. Saturday at the Saint Francis Health and Wellness Center, 150 S. Mount Auburn Road. Included are a 300-yard swim, five-mile ride on a stationary bike and a two-mile run on the indoor track. The goal is to finish all three events with the fastest time, with both individual and team competitions offered.
Awards will be given in various age groups and participation medals given to all finishers.
Individual entry fees are $25 for Fitness Plus members and $35 for nonmembers. Team fees (men, women and coed) are $40 for member teams and $50 for nonmember teams. Teams may consist of no more than three participants. Entry fees include awards, T-shirts and post-event refreshments.

Discussion of Diane Rehm book
The Cape Girardeau Public Library is hosting a discussion of the book "Finding My Voice," by Diane Rehm, the host of NPR's talk program, "The Diane Rehm Show." The book details Rehm's challenges and experiences. Rehm will close out Southeast Missouri State University's Speakers Series April 16; she'll speak at 7:30 p.m. in the Bedell Performance Hall on the River Campus. Her two-hour call-in program airs at 9 a.m. daily on KRCU-FM, the university radio station.
Sign-Up Saturday at Osage Centre
Sign-Up Saturday, presented by Southeast SportsCare and the Cape Girardeau Parks & Recreation Department, will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Osage Centre. The event offers a variety of family activities, health screenings and the opportunity to register children for recreational summer leagues, classes and special events.
