Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department is hosting an event to create a custom Easter egg tote bag from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Osage Centre. The event is for children ages 5 to 10. The Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department is holding pee wee sports classes at the Arena Building for children ages 3 to 5. SoutheastHEALTH Foundation is hosting an Easter egg hunt for adults from 6 to 11 p.m. Saturday at the Bavarian Halle in Jackson. Cost is $25 and proceeds will benefit Southeast Hospice. There will be 4,000 plastic eggs, each one guaranteed a winner, dinner provided by Cook's BBQ, dancing with music by Main Event Sounds, silent and live auctions and prizes for the best Easter baskets. Southeast Missouri Jehovah's Witnesses congregations will attend an annual assembly in St. Louis Saturday and March 24. The assembly will be held on consecutive weekends at the St. Louis Assembly Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, at 953 Laredo Ave. in St. Louis. Each day's sessions begin at 9:40 a.m. and continue through late afternoon. There is no cost to attend.
