'Rodeo and Juliet' at Crossroads Church

Southeast Journeys Cancer support group

The Southeast Journeys cancer support group will meet from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Unity Room at the Southeast Cancer Center. The group covers educational topics from the American Cancer Society's "I Can Cope" and includes a question-and-answer session and offers care, support and encouragement for those battling cancer and their families and caregivers. Scott Givens, manager of Southeast HealthPoint Fitness in Jackson, will discuss "Celebrating Life during the Cancer Journey." Preparation for childbirth class

I Can Cope offers cancer patients and their families an opportunity to share their concerns with others having similar experiences and helps them design ways to cope with challenges.
