To help with the rising costs of tuition, St. Vincent de Paul schools in Perryville, Missouri, have received a new scholarship program, the "Beyond Sunday" scholarship to help low- or middle-income families who are registered with a parish of the Archdiocese of St. Louis afford to send their children to a Catholic school. The scholarship has about $2.2 million available in combined elementary and high school scholarship awards to be granted for the 2016-2017 school year. There are two Beyond Sunday scholarships available, one for elementary and one for fellows (high school). This scholarship also is available for families with children already attending who might need financial help with tuition.
Besides the Beyond Sunday scholarship, St. Vincent schools have two other scholarships for income-eligible families. The "Alive in Christ!" scholarship is for students of new and existing families in grades kindergarten through eighth. This scholarship is first come, first served, so anyone interested in applying should apply as soon as possible. The Catholic Family Tuition Assistance scholarship is for students of income-eligible, registered Catholic families who attend grades kindergarten through 12th grade.
For guidelines and additional information for the Beyond Sunday scholarship, visit rcfstl.org/beyond-sunday/scholarships, and to apply for any of the scholarships available, go to www.ttef-stl.org.
