Salvation Army hosting Meals with Friends

The Salvation Army, 701 Good Hope St., is hosting Meals with Friends from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Meals includes items such as ham, mashed potatoes, turkey and noodles, spaghetti, baked chicken, chili, hot dogs and vegetables. All are welcome to join.

Oran VFW hosting benefit fair

VFW Morley Post No. 5368, 70 County Highway 430, Oran, Mo., is hosting a veterans benefit fair from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday. Information on VA health benefits, educational opportunities, burial information, pensions and employment opportunities will be available. This benefit is open to all veterans. Oak Ridge kindergarten screening and enrollment

The Oak Ridge School District is opening up its kindergarten screening and enrollment March 27 at the First Baptist Church on Route E in Oak Ridge. Appointments are necessary and must be made by calling 266-3232 after Feb. 21. Parents must have their child's immunization records, official birth certificate, Social Security card and proof of residency at the time of enrollment.
