The Girardeau Goes Green Advisory Board is looking for volunteers to help review the operations of the city of Cape Girardeau to determine where environmental changes are needed and how to make the city government greener and sustainable. The Father's Arms Fellowship will hold its annual Christmas bazaar for the needy with a white elephant sale, a raffle, a bake sale and food. The church will serve chili and potato soup, drink and dessert for $6 or $3 for 12 and younger and free for children younger than 6. The church uses profit from the bazaar to buy coats, toys and food for families in Scott City. The bazaar will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Father's Arms Fellowship at 1400 Main St., Scott City.
