"Celebrating Life during the Cancer Journey" will be the topic discussion at the Southeast Journeys Cancer Support Group meeting from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Dec. 18 in the Unity Room at the Southeast Cancer Center. This support group covers educational topics from the American Cancer Society's "I Can Cope" series and a question-and-answer session. The 2013 Ag Expo is scheduled for 1 to 8 p.m. Jan. 18 and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 19 at the Black River Coliseum in Poplar Bluff. Admission is free. Scheduled activities include live music such as jazz, gospel, country, line dancing and clogging, beauty pageants, agriculture seminars and more. A number of children's events are also scheduled including a toy tractor pull, children gardening, teens farm safety and more. There will be 118 booths, and outdoor exhibits will be available to visit and learn about agriculture and its importance to the economy.
