"Spamalot," a Tony Award-winning musical, will take the stage at Bedell Performance Hall for a one-night performance. The winner of the 2005 Tony Award for best musical, Monty Python's "Spamalot" is a musical comedy lovingly ripped off from the film classic "Monty Python and The Holy Grail." "Spamalot" tells the tale of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table as they embark on their quest for the Holy Grail. The show will be at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 12 at Bedell Performance Hall. The Osage Community Centre in Cape Girardeau will host breakfast with Santa from 9 to 11 a.m. Dec. 11. Santa will be making a special stop in Cape Girardeau to listen to the holiday wishes of every boy and girl. The event is open to all children 12 and younger who are accompanied by an adult. The Community Choir in Cape Girardeau is extending an invitation to all singers, soloists and instrumentalists in Southeast Missouri to participate in the upcoming Christmas "Messiah" and carol singalong at 2 p.m. Dec. 19 at the St. Paul Episcopal Church. This year's program will include the presentation of selected choruses from Handel's "Messiah" and the singing of carols by the choir and congregation. Rehearsals are from noon to 2 p.m. every Saturday before the performance at St. Paul Episcopal Church. Auditions for soloists are scheduled by appointment.
