Centenary Church needs crafters for fair

Centenary Church is seeking local artisans and crafters for its Le Bon Marche, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. There is no charge for booth space. For more information, call 334-2869. The French-style market will feature home baked goods, Christmas decor, antiques, vintage books, fresh flower arrangements and more.

Miss Jackson pageants registration open

Registration is open for the Miss Jackson Pageants to be held at 7 p.m. Nov. 21 at the Jackson High School auditorium. The pageant is for ladies ages 3 to 24 and is affiliated with Miss Missouri and Miss America Pageants. Contestants ages 3 to 4 may compete for Tiny Miss Jackson title, ages 5 to 8 are eligible to be Little Miss Jackson, and ages 9 to 12 are eligible to be Miss Jackson Preteen. Other pageants include the Miss Jackson Outstanding Teen for ages 13 to 16 and the Scholarship pageant for young women ages 17 to 24. Navy Icebreakers plan annual reunion

The Navy Icebreaker, the USS Edisto AG89/AGB2, will hold its annual reunion Oct. 17 to 20, 2010, in Providence/Warwick, R.I. St. Augustine School in Kelso, Mo., will sponsor a chili and chicken noodle soup supper from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 14, in the school gym. Adult admission is $6, children ages 6 to 12 are $3. Anyone younger than 6 eats for free.
