Food pantry in need of stock

The Scott City Food pantry is low on canned goods. Cans of fruit, vegetables, meat, spaghetti sauce or cash donations to buy food can be dropped off from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesdays at 804 Rear Main Street. Tax deductible donations can be sent to Scott City Food Pantry, 900 N. Scott St., Scott City, Mo. 63780-1668.

Angel Food Ministries October orders

The Church of Jesus Christ, a host site for Angel Food Ministries, operates a reduced-price food program. Payments for the October menu are due Oct. 13 and can be made at the church drop box or mailed to 721 County Road 316, Jackson, Mo. All orders must be paid for in advance. Arrangements for EBT orders can be made. Orders must be picked up between 2 and 6 p.m. Oct. 24 at the Church Fellowship Building. For more information, call 204-7087 or 204-7761.
