The Salvation Army is in need of canned fruit, great northern beans, hot dogs, napkins and plastic silverware to help with its Meals with Friends program. Meals with Friends provides free dinner the last week of each month. Everyone is welcome. Meals are served from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Find this week's menu on page 7C. Donated items may be dropped off at the Salvation Army at 701 Good Hope St. Call 335-7000 for more information.
