Jackson FBLA will trick or treat for cans

Members of Jackson High School's chapter of Future Business Leaders of America will hit the streets Tuesday to trick-or-treat for canned food to be donated to the Jackson Ministerial Alliance. FBLA members will be going door to door for cans of food from 6 to 8 p.m.

St. Joseph Parish of Apple Creek hosts fall festival, dinner

The St. Joseph Parish of Apple Creek in Perryville, Mo., will host a fall festival and dinner Nov. 1. The dinner will be at the Country Store. The menu features pork sausage, backbones and sauerkraut, and chicken and dumplings. The buffet-style dinner will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is $8 for adults and $4 for children ages 6 to 12.
