Saint Francis Medical Center is hosting a six-week breast cancer support group from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays. Topics to be discussed in the sessions include: chemotherapy, radiation, nutrition, exercise, sexuality, beauty tips and more. Group members will also be encouraged to share individual stories. At its conclusion, participants who attend a minimum of five meetings will receive a complimentary three-month membership to Fitness Plus. There is no cost to participate. HealthPoint Fitness will hold its Mini Munchkin Camp Camp from 10:30 a.m. to noon Tuesday. The camp is for children ages 2 to 5 and will be held at the Jackson location. Southeast Hospital hosts monthly meetings for the Bariatric Support Group for people who have undergone or are considering weight loss surgery. The next meeting is scheduled for 10 to 11:15 a.m. Saturday at Health Point Fitness in Cape Girardeau. The sessions cover a variety of topics, including medical management, meal planning and nutrition, behavior change and motivation, and exercise and fitness. The Ag Expo 2013 Pageant will be Saturday at the Black River Coliseum in Poplar Bluff, Mo. Age divisions and schedule are as follows:
* 9:30 a.m., Baby Girl, birth to 12 months;
* 10 a.m., Toddler Girl, 13 to 23 months;
* 10:30 a.m., Petite Miss, 2 to 4 years;
* 11 a.m., Tiny Miss, 5 to 7 years;
* 11:30 a.m., Little Miss, 8 to 12 years;
* Noon, Junior Miss, 13 to 15 years;
* 12:30 p.m., Miss Ag Expo, 16 to 20 years.

An agricultural photography contest will be at Ag Expo 2013 on Friday and Saturday at the Black River Coliseum in Poplar Bluff, Mo. The contest is open to anyone and entries must be photography related. Judging will be held on Saturday and contestants may pick up their entries after 2 p.m. Contestants may enter one photo per division: people, animals and landscapes/buildings. The photos will be judged on theme, creativity and technical quality. Entries can either be 5 X 8 or 8 X 10 and must be framed. Oak Ridge School is hosting a chili/stew supper from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Friday in the cafeteria. Menu includes choice of chili or stew, hot dog, desert and drink. Tickets are $5 in advance or $5.50 at the door and are available by calling the school at 573-266-3232. Takeout and delivery are available at no extra cost. The Homecoming basketball game against Greenville will follow at 6 p.m.
The Messiah Choir, a group of local singers representing area churches, is performing Handel's Messiah at 2:45 today at St. Paul Lutheran Church of Jackson, 223 West Adam St. The Youth Bell Choir of St. Paul Lutheran School also will be performing. A free-will offering will be taken and a reception will follow the concert.
