Four men currently serving with Company E of the Recruit Sustainment Program in Cape Girardeau have enlisted in the Missouri Army National Guard. The program teaches recruits basic Army skills and makes them more familiar with their role as a soldier in the Missouri Army National Guard.
Joshua David O'Donnell of St. Charles, Mo., will serve with the 3175th Military Police Company in Warrenton, Mo. O'Donnell is currently a student at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau. He will graduate in 2009 with a degree in organizational leadership in business management. He is the son of David and Cynthia O'Donnell of St. Charles.
Eric S. Mercer of Cape Girardeau will serve with Company C of the 135th Aviation Battalion at Whiteman Air Force Base. Mercer is a graduate of Great Basin High School in Clearfield, Utah. He is the father of Eden Sophia Mercer; the son of Wayne Mercer of Jackson and Sherry Mercer of Old Hickory, Tenn.
Michael A. Sedlock of Cape Girardeau, will serve with the 735th Quartermaster Company in De Soto, Mo. Sedlock is a graduate of Central High School in Cape Girardeau. He is the son of Michele Lynn Sedlock and Michael Vincent Sedlock.
Michael S. Cochran of Verona, Mo., will serve with the 117th Engineer Team (Asphalt) in Pierce City, Mo.
