Just remember what the past year has done for us with hopes for the future. __What is a favorite Christmas movie or song?__ "Silent Night" is my favorite, and it brings back memories. I like "Blue Christmas" by Elvis. He's one of my favorites. __How are you doing on your Christmas shopping?__ We don't shop a lot. Everyone kind of likes checks or cash. It might not be the right size, but it's always the right color. __What is your fondest Christmas memory?__ We used to go to my grandmother's house every Christmas Eve and open presents, and it was just everyone in the family getting together. __Keith McFerren__ Cape Girardeau Owner, Headliners Barber Shop __What are some family traditions around Christmas?__ First, eat. Second would be waking up Christmas morning and open up the gifts, and third would be attend the Christmas Tournament. __What is a favorite Christmas movie or song?__ My favorite Christmas movie is ... "You'll shoot your eye out" -- "The Christmas Story." __How are you doing on your Christmas shopping?__ Haven't even started. So that's not so good. I'm pretty much a last-minute shopper. __What is your fondest Christmas memory?__ I've got a huge family so I guess every [Christmas] that everyone is there and healthy is my favorite. __Richard Spicer__ Cape Girardeau Bell-ringer for The Salvation Army __What are some family traditions around Christmas?__ Traditionally we normally have chitterlings and turkey and food like that. We set up the tree with lights and sing carols __What is a favorite Christmas movie or song?__ "Frosty the Snowman" movie, and my favorite song is "Jingle Bells." __How are you doing on your Christmas shopping?__ I haven't even started yet. __What is your fondest Christmas memory?__ I don't know -- making a snowman because that's what we normally do every year is make the snowman or make angels in the snow. __Aleshia Morley__ Bernie, Missouri Retail, Wal-Mart __What are some family traditions around Christmas?__ We put up the Christmas tree, and we make grits and grillards. I actually do it the day after Halloween. __What is a favorite Christmas movie or song?__ I like "The Nightmare Before Christmas." I always have, since I was a little kid. __How are you doing on your Christmas shopping?__ Pretty well. My husband actually bought me a piano, and I just bought him a bunch of "Star Wars" stuff. We didn't put up a tree this year, so we already gave it to each other, so we are just doing it for the rest of the family now. __What is your fondest Christmas memory?__ I think being a little kid and sleeping on the couch with my sister and just looking up at the Christmas tree.
